NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 20, 2012) - John Schlitt and his band will make their first live U.S. appearance Sunday at The Church at War Hill in the Metro Atlanta area. The multiple Grammy and Dove Award-winning recording artist will perform music from his latest CD, The Greater Cause. Sunday's concert marks Schlitt's return to the U.S. after multiple international tour dates in Norway, Russia, India and Brazil.

The concert, sponsored by WWEV, Victory 91.5 FM and the Powersource Christian rock show, will feature Schlitt and the band performing radio singles "Hope That Saves The World" and "Take Me Home," as well as other songs from The Greater Cause.

"I've been touring out of the U.S. since my new project's release," says Schlitt. "I'm excited that I finally get to bring The Greater Cause to the U.S. with an excellent band!" The concert, held at the Church at War Hill in Dawsonville, Ga., will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday with a performance by indie band Love Like Gravity, followed by John Schlitt and his band. Tickets are $10 and are available online at warhill.com/cpt_events/john-schlitt-in-concert or at the door.

Through Sunday, WWEV is offering "Where I Wanna Be" from The Greater Cause as a free download (wwev.org).

The Greater Cause, Schlitt's fourth solo CD, was released May 8 by 4K Records and is distributed by New Day Christian Distributors. For more information about Schlitt and The Greater Cause, go to johnwschlitt.com or newdaychristian.com.
